For the love of onsies.

We all want to dress our babies in these cute little outfits.

I was no different. If there is one thing that Kaylee has been her whole life, it's well dressed.

I wish however, I would have known that dressing her up all day everyday would not only be a hassle (I'll explain that) but also a threat to the life of these beautiful clothes.

When Kaylee was an infant i had the cutest little baby clothes for her.

I had sweat outfits, dresses, jeans etc...

I made the mistake of trying to dress her in them all the time.

It took about a week before I realized how unrealistic this was.

Baby's poop and spit up.

Yes, even breast feed baby's spit up.

I can not tell you how many nice shirts I had to ruin and how much laundry was created.

My solution?

Onises.

Lots & lots of onises.

I only dressed her up cute for pictures, outings and visitors. 

It made it easier on both me and baby when she messed her outfits and it cut back on my laundry so I got to spend more time looking at her cute little face.

Onsies are also great to put under clothes.

The greatest part about onsies is you can still get ones that are cute and funny so there is no fashion sacrifice :-)
