Picture this. Late March or early April. A relatively warm day. Just a hint of frost in the breeze as if winter is whispering "keep me". A beautiful building, maybe a church. A room lit with white lights decorated with pretty bows in the colors that were chose. People taking their seats discussing how they know the bride or groom.
A small room full of 4 brides maids, the bride, the flower girl and the mother of the bride. Curling irons on, bobby pins being lost, shouting and her mom putting baby's breath in her hair as her bridesmaids gush over her and talk her down from several panic attacks. With her make up and hair done and her dress on she turns to the mirror and for a second doesn't recognize the person staring back at her. Her father enters and stares at his beautiful daughter with tears in his eyes remembering the days when she was young. For a moment it is silent. Haunting. Beautiful.
Then the music starts and so does the scramble to line up. She kisses her wonderful little flower girl on the cheek and sends her on her way. As she enters the door way she locks eyes with the man of her dreams and realizes that it's just a few steps between her and the rest of her life. Suddenly the dress, the colors, the food, the decorations don't seem all that important. Overwhelmed but ready she walks down the isle. To quickly the ceremony is over but it's all okay because in a moment two became one. He is hers and she is complete.

This my friends is how I see my wedding day.
I know it sounds cheesy and laugh if you like but it's true. <3
