She was right. I don't think we should be ashamed of sex or the fact that we have and enjoy it. I do think that sex should be shared between two people who love each other. That doesn't mean it should get boring though.

With that said, and with the help of 2 of my friends I am throwing a Durex party. It's to promote safe but enjoyable sex and to have some fun with the adults in our lives. We so far have lots of fun prizes and games that are sure to get laughs. After all, isn't life suppose to be fun? 

I have also learned a lot, some would say to much, about my friends through talks of our "sex lives". It's amazing how much bonding can happen when you're discussing intimate aspects of ones life. I guess that's easy when you view sex as a personal thing and not something you just give away, an opinion we all share. 

When I first sent out the invites I was a little embarrassed and a little worried. Now I am just excited and know that even if our guests do not enjoy themselves, the three of us will. I am excited to experience something new and make a deeper connection to the people attending. To everyone coming, I hope you're excited and coming with an open mind and intentions to have a blast.
