Happy Birthday, Kaylee!

My baby is four.

The term "time flies" seems so cliche,

but that doesn't make it any less true.

I can remember,

almost as if it was yesterday,

holding you for the very first time.

Your first laugh is still so vivid in my mind.

I can clearly see you getting up and crawling to your daddy
while he was singing to you.

I remember sitting in our first apartment,
daddy & I trying to teach you to walk in between us.

I remember you learning to talk.

Now you are this mini person.
With an opinion on what to wear, eat and play.

You're full of so much life.

Your personality to so large and beautiful.

Your smile is the most beautiful that I have ever seen.
People tell me that you are blessed to have daddy & I as your parents.
I don't know how true that is.
I do know however, God blessed us with you.
You have taught me more about life than anyone else in this world.
It is widely believed that parents are suppose to teach children.
I suppose that's true but I also believe that children are here to remind adults of innocence, love and fun.
Sometimes along the way adults stop living and start worrying.
My wish for you darling is that you never forget to stop living.
Always remember there is nothing in this world that God can't handle.
Always look for a silver lining or a rainbow through the clouds.
Keep your dreams high my dear.
Even if you don't reach them, you'll always have a journey.
Most importantly, love.
No matter how defeating it may seem at times,
love.
It is God's greatest gift to us.
Always be kind because you don't always know what another person is going through. 
Never lose your voice and be proud of who you are.
Walk your own path.
You are a wonderful little girl and I have no doubt in my mind you were meant for great things baby girl.
