Dear Aunt Bert

You have been gone 2 years now and still I think of you often. Sometimes with a tear on my cheek but mostly with a smile on my face. I know you had a rough life and that you are at peace but I often wonder what new jokes we'd have and how you would love Kaylee. 

I remember how you loved Easter because white was in and you got candy. I remember how you loved shoes, monkeys and elephants. Any day with wrestling was a good day. I remember listening to Ricky Martin. I remember how we would laugh at the dumbest things and how we used to hide junk food and cigarettes for each other. "Get me a beer" was one of your favorite lines. I think my favorite memory was when we went to the Gaither's concert and you got to meet Mark Lowery. You were like a kid in a candy store. 

I am grateful for all these wonderful memories, I love you everyday. I miss you terribly. This song is for you <3
