Love, Actually.

Song of the day? Christian Bautisa - The Way You Look At Me. The reason? My love <3. I know our anniversary is still 2 months away but I am working on his gift now. It makes me reflect on the the past five years and all that we've been through. It's actually been quite a lot.

We've experienced death of a few important people. We've had a wonderful and beautiful daughter. We have over come a lot of problems that usually end marriages. He has NEVER raised his hands to me and hardly ever raises his voice. He has dealt with more than his fair share of my crazy and he loves and accepts me anyway.

Our relationship has in not a single way been perfect but it's all been worth it. I have learned that love is worth fighting for. Although it's only a four letter word, it's meaning is lager than life. It's what makes, and in some cases breaks, life. I have learned it will make you do things you swore you never would and they were wonderful things that I would have missed out on otherwise. I learned it's worth taking the risk on. While it has the potential to make you crash and burn harder than you ever have before but it can make you fly higher then you've ever been before. Even when I was lost, he refused to give up and helped me find myself. Although I still struggle with a lot of things every day he has NEVER given up on me.

It all sounds cliche but it's also very, very true.
