Nephrostomy Tube Update

It's been 4 days since this nephrostomy tube has been placed.

Let me start by saying that I am grateful for this tube because it's keeping my baby safe and helping with the infection and pain.

Now let me say, I hate this stupid thing.

Do you know how embarrassing it is to walk around the mall with a bag of pee, blood and God knows what else strapped to your leg?

It's mortifying. 

Lets not even discuss the fact that I can't pick up my daughter. 

The flushing isn't a walk in the park either.

It gets cold and there's lots and lots of pressure.

Between having a 5 year old and a dog it gets hit and pulled a lot.

I can't snuggle in bed with my love.

I have avoided returning  the calls of home care because I just don't want to deal with more medical people.

This mixed with the hormones of being pregnant makes for a lot of tears.

I just want to scream!

I am just grateful for my daughter, momma, Jeremy, David & Colby who have been here to help ease the stress.

I just have to keep telling myself that all this is for a better out come in the end. 

That and talks with God are my sanity.
