Happy Anniversary.

Twenty nine years ago today my parents got married. 

It happened in plain clothes in a hospital room 

because my grandma was sick and they didn't want her to miss their wedding.

Though their marriage hasn't always been butterflies and rainbows

they are the definition of 'for better or for worse'.

They have

 hated, 

laughed. 

cried, 

lost, 

gained, 

yelled,

 prayed,

 raised more than their fair share of kids 

together for 29 years.

But I think what's best of all is they have 

loved.
