But I am just a simple girl who was lucky enough to have you look her way.

I remember the first birthday of yours that we spent together.

You were turning 19.

It was at Aunt Kelly's apartment.

I remember how you walked me down stairs after I got upset.

We sat on the bench and you just looked into my eyes and for the first time told me how much you loved me.

I also remember you and AJ being so funny that Aunt Kelly and I were crying from laughing so hard.

It was an amazing night.

You are a lot different from that 19 year old that I fell in love with 

but you are no less amazing.

You still make my heart pound in my chest &

I still get giddy and dry mouthed when I talk to you.

I hope that never goes away.
