These are some lesson's that I personally have learned since becoming a mommy. To the other mommy's out there, let me know if you agree/disagree and share some of your lessons if you like.
- You're heart can actually break about things that haven't happened yet.
- Privacy in the bathroom...or anywhere for that matter will become a distant memory.
- You will learn and sing the songs to your child's favorite television shows and find yourself even enjoying some of them.
- You will yearn for adult time and then find yourself missing your baby any way.
- Sometimes you will find yourself in conversations with adults using words that you say to your kids.
- Doing things for your self like buying new clothes, shoes, underwear will just be remembered as a fun past time.
- The smallest thing your child does will amaze you and sometimes make you cry.
- You will find yourself learning from your children.
- You will want to save every piece of artwork even though your refrigerator is out of room.
- You will spend an extra minute or five in the bathroom than needed to just catch a few minutes with out changing shirts, getting drinks, cleaning up messes or fighting over toy pick up.
- You will worry about EVERYTHING!!
- You will never be on time. To anything.
- Sometimes it's okay to let the laundry and vacuuming go.
- Sometimes you will let your child win one just so you don't have to argue.
- You will one day realize that mom was right.
- You will never pass up the opportunity to have alone time with your husband.
- You are in fact superwoman because how else would you survive on 3 hours of sleep with a screaming child, ,messy house and past due bills.
- People will judge your parenting, loudly and publicly.
- Friends with out children will eventually fall away.
- You will look forward to the park with your baby in spring more then you'll look forward to a pretty dress and cocktail hour.
- My favorite lesson of motherhood is that I have learned to love. I mean truly and deeply love. I believe that God allows us to have children so we can catch a glimpse of how he feels about us, his children. <3 I sure do love my Kaylee.
